English to Haitian Creole (Kreyòl) translation for your documents

Languages Without Limits.

FGS Lingo translates English documents into Haitian Creole (Kreyòl) for small schools, daycares and after-school programs, and churches that serve Haitian families. Every document is translated by hand by a person, and the layout of your original is kept so the files are ready to print. You can request Haitian Creole on its own, or French and Haitian Creole together — your quote covers the languages you ask for.

Documents translated into Haitian Creole

Haitian Creole is not French

Haitian Creole (Kreyòl) is a distinct language from French, even though the two share some vocabulary. A French translation is not a substitute for a Haitian Creole translation for families who read Kreyòl. If you are not sure which language your families need, say so in the notes on the quote form and describe your families — your quote covers the language or languages you choose. If some of your families read French and others read Kreyòl, you can request both in one quote — each family then receives the document in the language they read. Need French too? See English to French translation.

How the quote works

Submit your English document using the quote form. The length of the document and the complexity of the text are reviewed, then a quote is sent to you with the full price and the delivery date. No work starts until you approve the quote. Turnaround is not fixed; the delivery date in your quote is confirmed before any work starts.

Documents that need a specialist

IEPs, medical documents, legal documents, discipline documents, leases, and contracts need a specialist translator. Requests for these are referred to another translator. FGS Lingo does not provide certified, sworn, legal, medical, or immigration translation.

Questions before you request a translation

Can I request Haitian Creole only, without French?

Yes. English documents are translated into French, Haitian Creole (Kreyòl), or both. Your quote covers the languages you ask for.

Will the layout be kept?

Yes. The layout of your original is kept, and names, dates, and numbers are checked. Files arrive ready to print.

How is the price set?

By the number of pages or words and how complex the text is. The quote states the full price and delivery date before any work begins.

Is Haitian Creole the same as French?

No. Haitian Creole (Kreyòl) is a distinct language from French, even though the two share some vocabulary, so a French translation is not a substitute for families who read Kreyòl. Every document is translated by hand by a person. If you are not sure which language your families need, note it on the quote form and describe your families.

Can you translate an IEP or a certified document?

No. Those need a specialist and are referred out; FGS Lingo does not provide certified or immigration translation.
